About the Speaker:
Scott Ballina
Scott Ballina is the Senior Director, Diversity, Belonging, & Giving at Citrix. In his role as global diversity & inclusion and corporate citizenship leader, he develops and manages initiatives to engage employees, stakeholders and leaders to create diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces and communities. Mr. Ballina has been with Citrix since May 2018.
Prior to joining Citrix, he spent two years at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation leading the creation of a diversity and inclusion strategy. He spent more than 14 years at Deloitte where he assisted his clients in solving their toughest challenges related to diversity and inclusion, employee well-being, business process design, and software implementations. Mr. Ballina started his career as a U.S Navy Supply Corps Officer. He left the Navy after 7 years
achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Mr. Ballina was born and raised in Arnold, PA, a suburb of Pittsburgh. He attended Penn State University and received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He resides in Wilton Manors, FL with his husband, Chris. Their son, Ben, is a student at Roanoke College, in Roanoke, VA.
